My grandma is the biggest inspiration on my life for a lot of wonderful reasons that I would like to explain to you. These are some reasons why my grandma is my biggest inspiration on my family and I.
The first reason is she was and still is very enduring. When she was younger she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily, she made it through alive. She was very tuff and never gave up when this event took place. I was very proud of her. She is also strong in a lot of other things like, when I was about three years old, my great grandpa died, which was her husband. We were all devastated. It was very hard for her at first, but now she’s very happy because he is happy in heaven.
The next reason is she is picky, which is good if you know how to “do” it. She doesn’t get mad very easily, most of the time never at all. But when she does…you better watch out. One time when my brother and I were at her house visiting, and he was annoying me, like always. She came over and said “Eric, this is your last warning.” He knew what that meant. But when she left the room he began to do it again. She came out and slapped him hard on the face. After that he never annoyed me again. He was very quiet the rest of the time we were there. Now when we visit, he is always on his best behavior. Another thing about my grandma is that she expects respect and is very strict when it comes to her asking you for things. For example, she’s ninety-five, which makes her my great grandma, and if she asks you for something she expects to either get an answer or for you to get it in about….ten seconds.
That’s one of the things that tells a lot about her personality and I like that about her. ☺
The last reason is that she is heathful. If she didn’t eat as healthy as she did back then, she wouldn’t have been where she is now. But the only thing I’m worried about is that her bones are very weak and if she just fell to the ground she would probably break something. The reason why her bones aren’t strong is because she didn’t drink enough milk as a kid, and milk helps to keep your bones nice and healthy. So, when I’m older I’m going to make my kids drink milk so they can stay healthy and beautiful. ☺ Not long ago she fell on her floor and she broke her hip. It was like a miracle to find out that she survived. I don’t know how she did it but I was so happy she was alive. Usually people who are ninety-five and break their hip don’t survive, but my grandma did. I’m so proud of her.
Those reasons were just some of the many reasons why my grandma is my inspiration. I want to be just like her when I’m older. I will always remember my grandma and how much we love each other. She is my inspiration. ☺ <3
